Medium/Small creatures have a face of 5 feet, while Large has 10, Huge 15, Gargantuan 20, and Colossal 25. That means that Large creatures take double the damage from Slime Wave, Huge take triple, etc.

Yes to the PrC, but no to the spell.
Because frankly, a spell that can fuck over fighters and anyone with metal… well those exist already, but I'd rather NOT add more of them.
The spell is -part- of the PrC though. I'm not requesting it for a spellbook, but even then its not very overpowered. Since it -is- a 7th level spell. It'd be worse if it was lower.
But regardless! Its only the class' 1/day. If you believe that would be too overpowering in the campaign, what do you suggest in replacement for it? Thats perhaps the class' only ultimate ability.
I'd still like to keep the class untouched though save for the adjustments to 3.5 if at all possible.

Since thats apparently a minor issue Touchy pointed out. Though on it's defense, I do lose 5 casting levels of my actual class in this progression, so basically that 1/day will be my best spell. As I'd only be Eeffective 15th Wizard end level.
The spell seems like an oozy aoe version of rusting grasp with physical effects on character and equipment. I think maybe dull it to 1d6 HP damage not con, and 2d6 damage to items. That way its an acceptable spell for others use and not just a spell like for the ooze master
Well again, remember - Its not like I'm homebrewing this. This is straight out of the book I have, published by WotC. I've seen far more broken 7th level spells — Hell, even lower level ones. Also if one notices, theres a rather lulzy counter measure. Look under how to destroy it.

It might be pretty strong, but the user of the spell needs to somehow get someone to a light-less locale to use such. If this were implemented as a proper spell for any valid caster to use (which is not my request, but DMs might allow it anyway) it could indeed be pretty powerful, especially if combined with metamagics. But so can plenty of other spells of equal or lesser power.
