Okay so we have been working on fire arms for quite sometime now… and have gone through many drastic changes since it's release. Apparently Xeiro was wrong about guns and was using the starwars method for automatic. I'm getting tired of doing all this first things first…
Explodeing dice are being removed. They don't exist in d20 modern and nobody seems to remember to add their explosive dice anyway.
Now I need your guys help. Just going to do a poll cause im tired of working on this all by myself. Some people say the original d20 Modern style for Automatic is OP. Basiclly with the right feats you can do 4d10 with a gatling gun and the burst fire feat. and then with the splitting enchantment its apparently 8d10 that hurts. So we need to pick a direction with guns.
Either
A: We go back to using starwars style, -6 to attack rolls gain 3 extra attacks. The Burst fire feat will lower the penalty to -4 and we keep using normal ranged weapon enchantments for guns.
B: We continue using the normal method scott informed me of and guns either don't get enchanted, or they get a separate list of enchantments applicable to guns.
I need a choice from people and if you pick B someone write me up a reasonable enchantments chart.
Another thing to talk about Deflect Arrows. Me and Maul are on the same page with that but others aren't. This also depends on the previous choices I gave you guys so think hard about both.
A: Deflect Arrows just works
B: Deflect arrows only reduces damage to half and the gunman can choose to make a sunder check on your hand (unless your using a weapon). However if you have a gauntlet deflect arrows simply works.
